Tetiana Bieliaieva (Ukrain)


  

Tetiana Mykolayivna is a novelist, short-story writer, journalist, translator. Her first book published was a collection of poetry “Native Shores” (2006), which included award-winning works of the previous years. In 2007 she got the first prize “For the best interview of the year” and later was called “The youth Leader of the Year – 2007”, nomination “Journalist”, Kharkov city. The same year she became a member of The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. In 2012 her first novel got the first Oles Honchar German-Ukrainian Prize. The novel included a short story (“The Field of my Great Grandmother. Mariya”) that previously got an award of “The 30th Marusia Bek Literary contest” WFUWO (Canada: Toronto, 2009). 

In 2016 she participated in the International Writing Programme in Iowa City, USA. At present Tetiana is an Associate Professor of foreign philology department, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.
